In the summer of 2019, two Russian paragliders, Alexei Druzhinin and Andrei Mashak, made grandiose flights in the Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan. They flew on a paraglider and walked 800 kilometers. Just imagine how far that distance is!!! Paragliders flew at an altitude of 6500 meters and spent the night in the mountains at altitudes of 5000 meters. Mountains in Tajikistan are not studied for flights, there are absolutely wild places. Pamir is called the roof of the world and there are engaged climbers, but on a paraglider to our pilots flew only three people. They were on the trip for 12 days and are going to repeat their flight in 2020, as they had to interrupt the expedition due to the injury of one pilot. Their goal is to fly 1,500 kilometers in the Pamir Mountains. Good luck to our paragliders!
